Email Measurement Accuracy Coalition

The Email Measurement Accuracy Coalition was formed in April 2007, at the behest of many industry leaders who were becoming increasingly concerned about the lack of email marketing measurement standards.

The mission of the EMAC is to establish a consistent methodology and framework for the accurate calculation of e-mail delivery, in order to inform the computation of critical e-mail marketing metrics such as open, click-through-rate and conversion.

The coalition will be driven by a steering committee of individuals intimately familiar with the technical challenges that to date have prevented the broad adoption of a consistent measurement methodology.

The coalition is member supported, but there are no fees to become a regular member.   The EMAC holds regular meetings of its various committees and once a consistent framework is established it will be posted on this web-site.
